The Wild Floweress: Beginnings
From Lawn to Love: The Wild Ones Flower Farm Story
From Lawn to Love: The Wild Ones Flower Farm Story
Welcome, flower friends. I am so excited to take you behind the scenes of Wild Ones Flower Farm and Wild Floweress Design Co. This little dream of ours began as a simple front yard and slowly transformed into the blooming heart of everything we create today
About ten years ago my husband and I traded city life for a charming 1920s farmhouse in Sparta. We imagined a cozy space with a white picket fence and as we settled in, we added chickens, dogs, veggie gardens, and even a few sweet goats. What I did not expect was that our front lawn would eventually grow into a fully curated flower farm that inspires every design we create.

In my twenties I studied Fine Arts and then spent nearly two decades working in hospitality before becoming a Registered Nurse. Each chapter had its joys, but none felt like the creative life I craved. I always knew I wanted something more, something that blended art, nature, design, service, and the magic of celebration.
Right before turning forty I decided to stop waiting. I wrote down everything that lit me up: art, gardening, design, event planning, beautiful textures, and the feeling of creating something meaningful. That list became the blueprint for what would soon bloom. I left nursing, tore up our front lawn, and planted specialty tulips and daffodils with a vision that felt wild and exciting.
Imagine a garden filled with color, fragrance, and movement. Each morning I would walk the rows with a basket in hand, clipping blooms that felt too special to exist only in my front yard. What began as a hobby became an art form. I could feel it happening. I drew inspiration from the shapes, tones, and textures that only nature can provide and those early mornings laid the foundation for Wild Floweress Design Co.

With every season I became more obsessed with refining the craft. I studied with incredible designers, learned sustainable techniques, and gravitated toward the natural, romantic movement that now defines our signature style. From delicate sweet peas to bold poppies, I curated blooms that reflect our elevated wildflower aesthetic and began designing large scale installations that feel as if the garden is gently growing into the space.

Today our farm inspires everything we design. It gives us access to colors and varieties that simply cannot be sourced from traditional floral shops and it allows us to bring a piece of our garden into every wedding and event. When you step into a Wild Floweress design, the goal is for it to feel like walking into a dream filled with curated textures, movement, and artistry. Every arrangement tells a story and each story is created just for you.
If you are ready to see how your vision can come to life, we would love to create something unforgettable for your day. Book your consultation with our design team and let us begin crafting the floral experience you have always imagined.
