The Perfect North Shore House Floral Setup: Elise & Kyle's Garden-Inspired Wedding
If you're planning a wedding at North Shore House and wondering where to invest your floral budget, this wedding is the perfect example of what I recommend again and again.
Elise and Kyle's wedding had all of the garden-inspired goodness we love at Wild Floweress. Soft peach and blush blooms, airy movement, layered textures, and thoughtful details created a celebration that felt romantic, effortless, and completely at home along the lake.
What made this wedding particularly special wasn't necessarily the flowers themselves. It was how intentionally every floral piece was designed to serve multiple purposes throughout the day.
Garden-inspired florals in soft peach, blush, buttercream, and warm apricot tones felt perfectly at home along the shores of North Shore House.
One of my favorite portraits from the day. Soft garden florals paired beautifully with the venue's timeless architecture.
Soft sage dresses paired beautifully with a palette of peach, blush, cream, and warm apricot blooms.
Why North Shore House Is Different
One of the biggest mistakes I see couples make at North Shore House is assuming they need flowers everywhere.
The truth is that this venue already provides so much beauty on its own.
The lake views, mature trees, waterfront ceremony site, and warm architectural details create an incredible backdrop before a single flower is added.
The goal isn't to compete with the venue.
The goal is to enhance it.
For Elise and Kyle, we focused on creating a few meaningful moments that could work hard throughout the day while allowing the natural beauty of the property to shine.
The Bud Vase Seating Chart Wall
One of our signature designs made an appearance at this wedding.
Instead of a traditional seating chart, guests were greeted by a wall of individual bud vases, each labeled with their name and table assignment.
Not only did it create a beautiful visual moment during cocktail hour, but it also solved two design challenges at once.
Each guest was invited to bring their bud vase to their reception table, instantly creating a collection of colorful, whimsical floral arrangements throughout the room.
The result was a reception space filled with flowers without requiring dozens of additional centerpieces.
It felt interactive, intentional, and perfectly suited to the relaxed atmosphere of North Shore House.
Our signature bud vase seating chart greeted guests during cocktail hour before becoming part of the reception décor.
Triple duty: Seating chart, table arrangements, and guest favors!
The Moveable Ceremony Flowers
This is where the real magic happened.
Rather than investing in large ceremony arrangements that would only be used for thirty minutes, we designed custom aisle arrangements specifically for the North Shore House ceremony site.
These pieces framed the ceremony beautifully while complementing the waterfront backdrop without blocking the incredible lake views.
The floral arch was also designed with repurposing in mind. After the ceremony, the floral clusters were carefully removed and transformed into sweetheart table arrangements, creating a lush focal point for the reception without requiring additional flowers.
Once the ceremony concluded, every arrangement found a second purpose.
The flowers that lined the aisle were moved inside and used to style both the memorial table and the bar.
This instantly created multiple focal points during cocktail hour and the reception without adding a single stem to the floral order.
The result was a ceremony design, sweetheart table florals, bar flowers, and a beautifully styled memorial display all from the same floral investment.
It's one of my favorite examples of how thoughtful floral planning can dramatically stretch your budget.
The curved aisle at North Shore House creates such a beautiful approach to the ceremony site.
The floral arch framed the lake views beautifully before being repurposed into sweetheart table florals for the reception.
The waterfront ceremony site is already breathtaking. Our goal is always to enhance the view rather than compete with it.
Custom aisle arrangements were designed specifically for the space and later repurposed for the reception.
Freshly married with the lake as their backdrop and flowers lining the aisle.
One of those just-married moments that perfectly captures the joy of the day.
A Reception That Felt Collected, Not Overdesigned
The couple also made some incredibly smart design choices for their reception.
Rather than investing heavily in traditional centerpieces, they incorporated their own runners, greenery, and pillar candles in hurricanes.
The couple decorated their tables with intention
All ready for the colorful bud vases to arrive!
This provided a beautiful foundation for the room.
When guests brought their bud vases to the tables, everything came together naturally.
The candles created warmth.
The runners added texture.
The bud vases introduced color, movement, and personality.
Every table felt unique while remaining cohesive.
Most importantly, the room felt full and thoughtfully designed without requiring large floral centerpieces on every table.
After the ceremony, the aisle flowers were moved inside to style the memorial table, giving every bloom a second purpose.

Why We Recommend This Setup Again and Again
Every venue has its own challenges.
At North Shore House, the reception room already has so much character between the lake views, wood details, and natural light that it doesn't require oversized centerpieces on every table to feel complete.
What it does benefit from is thoughtful layering.
For Elise and Kyle, the bud vase seating chart provided florals for every guest table. The aisle flowers became bar and memorial table arrangements. The ceremony arch flowers became sweetheart table florals.
The couple then layered in their own runners, greenery, and pillar candles in hurricanes to create warmth and texture throughout the room.
The result was a reception that felt full, intentional, and flower-forward without requiring a massive floral budget.
It's one of my favorite North Shore House design strategies because every piece has a purpose and every flower works harder.
That's exactly the type of planning that allows couples to maximize both impact and value.
Why This Setup Works So Well at North Shore House
After designing numerous weddings at North Shore House, I can confidently say this is one of my favorite approaches for the space.
You get:
• A beautiful ceremony design
• A statement bud vase seating chart installation
• Reception florals on every table
• Styled cocktail hour focal points
• Sweetheart table florals created from the ceremony arch
• A beautifully styled memorial table
• Maximum impact from every floral dollar
Most importantly, the design feels natural to the venue.
Nothing feels forced.
Nothing feels excessive.
Everything works together to enhance what North Shore House already does so well.
The Floweress Take
When couples ask me how to maximize their floral budget at North Shore House, this wedding is the example I often reference.
Thoughtful repurposing.
Interactive floral moments.
A seating chart that doubles as reception décor.
Ceremony flowers that become cocktail hour installations.
Arch flowers that become sweetheart table florals.
Garden-inspired blooms that feel at home by the lake.
It's proof that beautiful wedding design isn't always about more flowers.
It's about making every flower work harder.
And that's exactly what Elise and Kyle's wedding did.
The grounds at North Shore House offer endless opportunities for relaxed, romantic portraits throughout the day.
The best wedding flowers aren't always the biggest or the most elaborate. They're the ones that work hard throughout the day. From the bud vase seating chart to the repurposed ceremony flowers, every floral element at Elise and Kyle's wedding was intentionally designed to maximize both beauty and value. It's one of my favorite examples of the perfect North Shore House setup.
